Questions? Let me answer them!
How do I know any of these programs will work for me?
These programs, like anything else, will work if you want it to work. Your desire to step into something new launches the rocket of change. That’s the first step.
Secondly, to ensure you’re able to follow through, we only use the resources you have available TODAY. Whether you’re in Life on Your Terms, Life as Your Best Self or A Great Beginning, I will guide and support you throughout the process.
Lastly, my master’s in clinical social work from U Chicago combined with a certification in holistic life coaching have informed and shaped the work I do to support you making impactful shifts.
How can I fit this in with all the other demands on my time?
Time expands and contracts as we choose. That may sound crazy but think about how you’re able to find time for something fun or urgent versus meeting the deadline of a boring project or making plans with someone you like but don’t adore.
We make time for the things that are important to us, large or small. You decide how large or small making this critical shift in your life is to you.
I’m not sure if this is the right time for me to do a program like this. When is the best time?
Years ago, I was in my dentist’s chair talking about my family. He was encouraging my partner and me to have more children. I told him I wasn’t sure if it was the right time. He said, “There’s never a wrong or right time to have a child. You make it work if that’s what you want.”
It’s been more than 10 years since that conversation. I remember it though, because he was absolutely right. Things we really want to do get done. We don’t worry about the right or wrong time when we know we are ready to make positive changes in our lives.
How do I know you’re the right person to help me?
The best way to figure that out is by talking with me and seeing how you feel as we get to know each other. Creating a sense of comfort and connection with my clients is a high priority. I have dedicated my life to the well-being of others and am an expert listener.
Is 8 weeks in LAYBS enough time to totally change my life?
In a word? No. It is plenty of time though to cause great shifts in how you think and feel about yourself and how you want to step differently into your life. Also, eight weeks is more than enough time to begin exploring how you want to feel day-to-day and what you need to do to make that happen. This is where feeling good really begins. If you would like more time and broader ability to explore more, we recommend, Life on Your Terms, which lasts six months.
