A Call to Action!
Working Moms (and some dads too)!
This is a call to action.
Work/life balance isn’t something you deserve; it’s a requirement for being healthy, happy and well.
Don’t you want that for yourself, not just your children?
This means you need more help and support from those in your home, who are capable, and outsource where you are able. If the able bodies in your home are not willing to help you lighten your load, then what are you willing to let go of and not get done so you can take care of your well-being for the long-game?
I don’t mean a glass or three of wine, a bubble bath or a night out with girlfriends every two or eight months.
I am referring to self-care that is a consistent investment in your well-being so that you can take care of your loved ones, be present and capable at work AND have the time, energy, mental space and creativity to think about what you want in life.
When was the last time, if ever, you thought about what gives you a sense of purpose and fulfillment and then did something about it? When was the last time you went to bed grateful and woke up excited? Last question…what are you going to do, today, that gets you a little bit closer to living your purpose?
It starts with a slight, almost imperceptible shift. It’s far easier than you think and with the right guide, it’s totally doable.
